Query

29 Dec

Hello there, internet. I have two questions. Ooh, fancy HTML time.

  1. I started a project that gives the participant 1001 days to do 101 things. This is what I have so far. Your job is to suggest other things I should put on there. Remember, this is a period of a little less than three years- a lot can be done. Make goals realistic but still challenging.
  2. I just started a folder in my bookmarks bar because I got sick and tired of having to hunt around for the links to people’s blogs. Therefore, my request of you is that if you have a blog, please comment with the URL so I can add it to the list.

Thanks very much!

    What’s this service/thing you’re using?

    Ideas:

    Be published in a magazine.
    Go on the radio.
    Paint something.
    Write someone a handwritten letter.

Oh, come now, you should be able to find it with the picture I’ve given! ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Link anyway: http://dayzeroproject.com/

    Ideas: Sweet; thanks.

    1. Make cupcakes. Lots of them. Obscene amounts. Have a cupcake making day!

    2. Thanks; I had actually forgotten you.

    1. Reenact a musical number with a large group of people on Church Street. [AVPM? WtWM? Whatever you want.]

    Wear drag in public.

Most of all of those suggestions have been added. Ren, I put yours down as ‘Join a flash mob’ – though it probably should have been ‘Organise a flash mob’.

Noice. *grins* This entire thing is most excellent.

1- make a whole bunch of cute little crafty things and then put them up in some public place. (This is probably illegal)

I feel sort of inspired to try this myself… I might be more inspired if I add sleep?

Become the emperor of your own country. Leave little random notes in random places for random people to find. Wear amazing hats.

Speak for a predetermined amount of time (day?) with a pattern (in iambic pentameter/rhyme/without using ‘e’/etc. I would suggest terza rima, because that doesn’t seem too hard but is impressively named.)

Grady-chan, if you do this one I will give you Hi-Chews, which are delicious & also excellent for bribing Misha.

Paint a wall. Hell, paint a ceiling. Do a survey, a weird one and only ask strangers. Interview people on the ccta buses (didn’t you wanna do this). Cut class (maybe not). Bring in food for your least favorite teachers, maybe they just need a little <3. Sing a duet with greenie- it'd just be adorable.

    1. Reenact the snapping gang scene from West Side Story in a public place (UMall?) with a group of cronies.

    2. Watch and mock at least one Disney movie. Your choice.

    3. Fondue something you didn’t think could be fondued.

      2) Oh, come on, that’s nothing new. ๐Ÿ˜€

      3) I misread that as “fondle.”

  16. Greenie 05/01/2010 at 16:56 #

    2) New enough.

    3) Or do that.

    Hmmm…
    1. Learn the choreography to a dance in a musical of your choice.
    2. Try dressing more like a college student…hipster maybe? Which one? (Remember that time we were in Burlington last summer and those people thought we were college students! FLASHBACK!!)
